Why do we give?
We give because God has first given generously to us in Christ.
Scripture teaches us to give willingly, generously, and from the heart. Tithing, giving the first portion back to God, has long served as a biblical pattern and helpful starting point for faithful generosity.
"Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
